The New Nintendogs

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!

Nintendo has released a new ad yesterday on October 30th 2015 for Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer. The big twist!? They used Puppies. There's nothing quite like a Puppy to entice you to buy something. I know because I own a puppy and I bought something for him a bit ago. Anyways, Nintendo used Puppies to play the parts of three Dog characters from Animal Crossing. Isabelle, her brother Digby and the famous musician K.K. Slider. I personally don't believe the dog-actor portrayed K.K. very well but whatever. For the player icons they showcased the (yet to be released) new animal crossing amiibo figures. The video is included in this post, for more information on the new Animal Crossing game please visit Nintendo's website for Happy Home Designer.

Miitomo, My Nintendo and Nintendo account

I've discovered some new news regarding the new Nintendo application and Nintendo's new membership service. Apparently Miitomo works with "My Nintendo" as a communications app for JUST your friends. Impressive Nintendo, honestly not joking here, this new app looks like it has some serious potential. I also love my Mii character, a social network for JUST friends that uses my Mii!? I love it. .To summarize, here's the link to my information I discovered. SOURCE

Miitomo!?

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!

Nintendo announced their new Smart phone app last night, it's called Miitomo. Not really a game, it's going to be free but overall it's mostly like a Mii character social network. Miiverse is now used primarily for sharing in-game experiences now so this new app would be Nintendo's REHL social network. Oddly though the primary feature is to make a Mii, then let the Mii go around and converse to other users. I'm not sure what they might add to this in the future or even what their plans are with the application right now... But Nintendo usually doesn't disappoint with innovation so this may become much more worth getting when the time for release comes. However, right now this app doesn't appeal to me at all, It's almost dumb. I'm sure avid gamers can see from the picture shown above that the app looks a lot like Tomodachi Life for the 3DS. I believe that Nintendo basically wanted a MICRO version of that game for Smartphone users. Again, this also feels more like an application than a game,
Nintendo announced that they will be making 5 total games/apps for phones and many of them will feature their IP.

Super Mario Maker Update

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!
Nintendo's released a video today telling the world that Super Mario Maker is getting a FREE update next month (November 2015) that adds checkpoint flags, a bigger bonus game and the abillity to place two power ups in one block. They switch depending on what height Mario is when he hits the block. This is all stuff that you'd find in a normal Mario game so... My prediction was that they will continue to add to this game, just like they added to Mario Kart 8. And I'm positive they will considering it's boosted the Wii U's sales quite a bit.

New 3DS plates

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!

Kotaku released this article without any links to their discovery so I did some digging but couldn't find a source for the information, so I looked up Nintendo's Japanese news because the article insinuated that it may be only in Japan the plates are released in. And I discovered the location of the information was the Japan site for Nintendo's newest announcements, I translated the page with Google and found out exactly that these are planned for a Japan release (possible November 2015). As of yet I don't know if they'll be coming to the USA.
The Reporter for Kotaku even called the plates "Skins" Which is (of course) improper and the wrong information. Someone (unnamed) in the comments section even called him out on it.
"It’s not a “skin”, it’s a cover plate. There is a HUGE difference."

Welcome to the future

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!

It is now October 22nd 2015... If my calculations are correct. GREAT SCOTT!! This mean's we're now in the future. Well, not exactly but I heard those self lacing shoes are coming out soon.
Anyway's Yesterday was October 21st 2015 and to celebrate, It's been reported that Nintendo decided to bring the game Wild Gunman back to the Wii U (seen in the Back To The Future sequel) eShop. But that's like a Baby's toy, right? WRONG! Exciting isn't it? Well LEGO decided to promote the Back to The Future side of LEGO Dimensions, and published all kinds of new pics featuring Marty and Doc Brown and of course, the famous DeLorean. LEGO Dimensions even changed their profile pic to be a LEGO version of Marty. And Then I watched the entire second film on TV. It was a Blast from the Future, now make like a tree and get out of here.

U thief!

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!
Reported today on My Nintendo News, Someone has begun development on a new (& released) project that allows people to illegally own/play Wii U games on their PC. Yes, it is a Wii U emulator. An NES, SNES, or even Game Cube emulator would be less offensive but this is just plain rude, I'm nearly positive Nintendo will have this gone overnight. The audacity of some people is ridiculous!  I know some can't afford the Wii U as of yet, but prices go down and sales do happen so to just  up and steal from Nintendo... Are they mad? Nintendo's previously removed N64 remakes from the internet, what makes these guys feel that they can get away with theft!? And it is theft, people!

Sonic zips into the eShop

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!

3D Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is now on the 3DS eShop as of today (10/8/15). Taking the classic adventure with Sonic and Tails, making it 3D and compact. I personally own the first 3D Sonic game from SEGA on the eShop and found the game to be exactly the same as the original Sonic but with incredible Three-Dimensional depth. This sequel to the first game seems like it should've been out on the eShop a while ago, but that's OK, it's just good to see that they're not ONLY releasing one 3D Sonic game, that would be a shame.

Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!
Guess what came out today? Yes, it's Chibi-Robo Zip Lash for the Nintendo 3DS, For thos who don't know, "Chibi" is a Japanese slang word meaning "short person" or "small child". The word has gained currency among fans of manga and anime. Its meaning is of someone or some animal that is small in stature. It can be translated as "little" So, in "Short" (pun intended) "Chibi-Robo" just means "Tiny Robot". Isn't that interesting?

1 Day finale Smash Ballot

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!

The Fighter Ballot for SSB ends tomorrow! Today is 10/2/15, Everyone's wondering who'll be voted into SSB, or if they'll even announce the new fighters tomorrow. And many eager trolls are hoping one winner is Shrek. Why did I say fighters? Well, no one seems to know exactly how many new fighters will be added VIA DLC, the Smash Bros Ballot site says nothing about how many new fighters will be added. We're still in suspense, Hopefully the winner will be something like "Chibi Robo &/or Knuckles from Sonic.

Voxel art Wii U game

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!

A new art game came out today (10/01/15) for the Wii U where you make 3D pixel cube art like models digitally, honestly it looks a bit like Minecraft but it's not an actual game it's just an application where you make 3D art.

eShop description:
"Create 3D models of your own design and render them with realistic lighting and shadows. Voxel models are made from cubes giving a stylized, "blocky" look - like 3D pixel art. You can use the built-in ray tracer to render high-quality images of your scenes. With VoxelMaker you have both 3D canvas and camera in your hands: be inspired and create!"
VoxelMaker for Wii U is mainly a way to make 3D art and save it as pictures, nothing more. Currently it's priced at $4.99 on the eShop. The app looks well made but the function of the app could've probably been more thought out rather than JUST an art application.

The amiibo returns!

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!
Today on Facebook Nintendo announced they'll be restocking store shelves with a few harder to find amiibo figures, which means that the rumors about Nintendo restocking amiibo were true.
"Look who’s back! Little Mac, Greninja, Shulk, Lucario, Fox, and Captain Falcon are being restocked at select retailers soon."~Nintendo on FB

This is good news for those who couldn't find these amiibo figures after they've sold out previously.
