Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash

Hey Nintendo Fanatics!
Guess what came out today? Yes, it's Chibi-Robo Zip Lash for the Nintendo 3DS, For thos who don't know, "Chibi" is a Japanese slang word meaning "short person" or "small child". The word has gained currency among fans of manga and anime. Its meaning is of someone or some animal that is small in stature. It can be translated as "little" So, in "Short" (pun intended) "Chibi-Robo" just means "Tiny Robot". Isn't that interesting?

"When Earth’s resources are in danger from a mischievous group of aliens, there’s only one robot with the skill to save the world! That robot’s name is Chibi-Robo, and he’s the star of the energetic new game Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash, launching exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems on Oct. 9. Chibi-Robo might be small in size, but his adventuring skills are as big as the most intrepid explorer’s! Using his plug and cord, Chibi-Robo can whip, grapple and swing his way through a huge side-scrolling platformer filled with dangerous enemies and clever environmental puzzles. And by scanning the Chibi-Robo amiibofigure that is included with a special bundle, players can access bonus features like the ability to power up to Super Chibi-Robo, increasing Chibi-Robo’s speed and watts and allowing him to travel for longer distances without having to charge up.
“With colorful graphics, accessible game play and a lovable main character, Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash is perfect for every member of the family,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “It is a terrific addition to the robust series of fun Nintendo games launching between now and the end of year.” "~Nintendo PR
This game is (just BTW, obviously) Chibi-Robo's first platform game and although it has the similar theme of "Cleaning up" that all his previous games have had, this game throws the spin in of actual combat and platforms to jump on. "Domo arigato mr roboto", Sorry I just had to say it.

"Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash will launch in stores, in the Nintendo eShop and on Oct. 9 at a suggested retail price of $29.99. Players who want to also purchase the Chibi-Robo amiibo can find him in a special bundle that includes the game and amiibo figure at a suggested retail price of $39.99."~Nintendo PR
